Initial idea

In a world where AI is transforming industries, staying ahead with innovative tools is essential — especially in finance. I realised how manual report generation can be both tedious and time-consuming for finance teams, so I developed an AI-driven solution concept to make the process faster and easier. My approach not only reduces the workload but also ensures that finance dashboards stay current with the latest technology

The concept

The project consists of three core elements that require focused attention:

• Dashboard: This is where all the data is represented and changes are reflected according to the chat interactions. I tried to make it clean, since it will be updated according to the prompts.
• AI Chat: I tried to make the chat experience simple yet effective, enabling users to engage in natural language conversations with the AI.
• Report: I wanted to make the report generation user-friendly, providing easy-to-understand reports that can be downloaded. In the future I would enhance it via including additional features.

The first concept (which I did not go further with)

The design

Initially, my approach was to make the chat the central tool on the screen. However, after conducting user testing and further analysis, I realized that it would be more effective to have the dashboard display updates and prompt activities. This would allow users to generate reports and quickly filter data using the chat feature. To accommodate this change, I simplified the chat interface by integrating AI, as the available space became more limited. Based on these findings, I decided to exclude text suggestions and file attachments from the final concept
