We collaborated closely with a client from Iraq who aimed to create the country's first web platform for football fans to purchase tickets.
Given Iraq's limited technological development, it was crucial to approach the market analysis with care. Through thorough research, we identified specific metrics and data that shaped our approach to creating the platform.
After gathering this essential information, we held several sessions with the client to gain a detailed understanding of their concept, vision, and market insights. Our initial assumptions proved mostly accurate, allowing us to proceed with designing the first prototypes.
Early in the design phase, the client requested a presentation for stakeholders to provide deeper insights into the product through preliminary design snapshots. Despite a tight deadline of 7–9 working days, we strived to deliver the best possible user experience for Iraqi football fans. The presentation was a success, and the stakeholders gave their approval for the project.

Through several iterations and countless meetings, we were able to deliver the final solution for the Iraqi market. This solution provided users with the ability to purchase tickets through the platform and download them for stadium entry.
In terms of design, we opted for a green color combination, as this color is closely associated with the Muslim religion. Considering that users may not be highly familiar with technology, we ensured that each page included clear instructions on what actions they needed to take.

Initial Lo-Fi design
DigitalZone, the project we worked on, was partially financed by the government. Therefore, it was essential for us to create innovative features/products in order to maintain their financial support by the gov.
To develop and design unique elements, I collaborated with the IT security department to identify features that could minimise ticket fraud and enhance the ticket delivery process. The solution we ultimately proposed to the client involved SMS confirmation, which directed users to a unique link containing ticket details and information, along with a QR code that updated every 15-30 seconds. In summary, this approach and ticket delivery procedure were accepted by the Iraqi government and client and successfully implemented.
